Who we are

FarmAI Ireland is an independent platform that explains AI to Irish farmers. When this policy says “we” or “us”, that's who it means. You can reach us at hello@farmai.ie.

What we collect and why

We keep this as minimal as we can:

  • Newsletter: Your email address, so we can send you FarmAI Monthly. That's it. One email a month. Unsubscribe anytime.
  • Contact form: Your name, email, and message — so we can reply to you. We don't keep these longer than we need to.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to see which articles get read and how people find the site. This is anonymised — we see “someone in Cork read the ACRES guide”, not “John from Mallow read the ACRES guide.”

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't rent it. We don't share it with anyone for marketing. We don't have a “data monetisation strategy.” Your email sends you a newsletter. That's the entire relationship.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask us to show you what data we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time — there's a link in every email. To make any request, email hello@farmai.ie.

Complaints

If you think we're handling your data badly, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission. We'd rather you emailed us first so we can fix it, but that's your call.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We won't fundamentally change how we use your data without telling you.
